The Four Step Plan to Freedom from Dental Phobia (Online)

The Four Step Plan to Freedom from Dental Phobia (online) is provided exclusively for users of  The Beyond Fear website and will provide a structured plan that will enable you to deal with your dental anxiety, fear or phobia. Each session will be broken down in four sections each lasting approximately one hour. The session will take the form of weekly or monthly sessions, depending upon your preference, in the meeting room or on MSN

• Session 1: Taking a cognitive approach to Dental Phobia
• Session 2: Working out what stops you from getting to the dentist
• Session 3: How to take the first step
• Session 4: Review and next steps

Requirements

Participants will be expected to:

1. be determined to deal with their dental phobia and be prepared to do whatever it takes to beat it
2. be prepared to stick with the plan for the full four weeks
3. be prepared to play an active part in the sessions
4. do any homework set as a result of the sessions
